What’s Natural Soap?

Natural soap refers that made with essence oil extracted from natural plants, which also contains organic sources instead of synthetic fragrances or any artificial ingredients.


Different types of Natural Soap

MP (Melt Pour)

Melt-pour soap made by using an ready-made soap base composed of glycerin and other natural ingredients.


CP (Cold Process)

Cold-processed soap is made by mixing caustic soda with water, blending it with fatty oils, and adding some natural natural ingredients. And also, it is a natural soap that is usually sold on the market. * CP soap should be used after aging for about 4 weeks. 


HP (Hot Process)

Hot-process soap is a soap made at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius or higher by a high-temperature aging method. Making HP soap is pretty tricky and takes long time, but you can use it for a long time because it's kind of hard compared to other natural soaps.


Rebatching

Rebatching soap is kind of recycled-soap. It's the simple process of fixing a failed piece of soap that you've made before. You don't have to put any caustic soda, so it's safe to make it. *You should use rebatching soap as soon as possible because it would includes  other additives such as oil or milk.

Benefits of using Natural Soap

Glycerin

Glycerin is derived from plant-based oils. Also, it occurs naturally while you’re making a natural soap. Whether or not glycerin is included is the biggest difference between natural soap and regular soap. Glycerin has lots of benefits such as relieving acne, dry skin, moisturizing, etc.

Good for sensitive skin

Some people who has sensitive skin type always suffer from skin troubles. The natural soap, however, doesn’t contain any artificial surfactant and preservative which cause skin troubles. Thus, it does not irritate the skin.

Good for environment

As industry has been growing rapidly, environmental problems are big issues. In this situation, natural soap can work as an eco-friendly product. Unlike normal soaps that use animal fat, natural soap are made with pure ingredients that are from nature and decomposed within 24 hours.
