Maxim x Universal Special Package: A Unique Collaboration Marketing

Recently, collaboration marketing between unexpected brands is gaining popularity in South Korea. Among the numerous collaborations, this time, Maxim, instant coffee brand in Korea, and Universal Studios, famous film production company in the United States, have released the ‘Maxim x Universal Special Package’. Why? What is the correlation between those two brands? I think that it’s a collaboration to attract customer attention in a fun and interesting way.

Maxim X Universal Special Package is a unique concept that utilized classic movies such as movie Jaws, Back to the future, Jurassic Park. As you can see from the picture, Each movie's title is printed on maxim coffee stick. In addition, there are various goods which are very unique and attractive such as blankets, popcorn tins, tumblers, color changing mugs, and tin cases. One of those things I would like to show you is a color changing mug.

The mug cup looks just a simple black cup with JAWS letter. However, when you put some hot water into the cup, the surface color starts to change to blue like a sea and then jaws appears as well. Look at the top of the cup, a person is swimming. That's so creative! Suddenly the jaws theme music comes to mind...😨

This channel has already been really popular in South Korea as showing easy workout that you can follow easily at home.
